Contributed to the home-assistant/frontend repository by implementing enhanced interaction capabilities for the Lovelace UI editor. Developed support for hold and double_tap actions on the entity heading badge, updating both the configuration schema and the interaction handling logic to accommodate these new user gestures. This addition allows users to create more flexible automations and richer interactions within the Lovelace interface. The work focused on frontend and UI development using TypeScript and web components, emphasizing maintainable schema updates and robust event handling. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering this targeted feature enhancement for the March 2025 cycle.
