Worked on the modelcontextprotocol/inspector repository to deliver a user-facing Clear button for dismissing Sidebar error notifications, enhancing user control over error output. Leveraged React and TypeScript to implement the feature, focusing on frontend development and user experience. Improved the test infrastructure by introducing a clearStdErrNotifications mock, which supported more robust Sidebar testing and increased test reliability. Expanded test coverage by adding a new test case property, strengthening overall quality assurance. The work emphasized maintainable code and thorough testing practices, utilizing JavaScript and CSS alongside TypeScript to ensure seamless integration and reliable functionality within the existing codebase.
