During December 2024, Lingqi focused on stabilizing the build pipeline for the denoland/chromium_build repository by addressing a critical Linux UBSan test failure. Using disciplined version control and CI/CD practices, Lingqi performed a targeted bisect to identify a problematic commit within a large clang and Rust LLVM roll. By reverting this specific change, Lingqi restored trunk stability and reduced CI investigation time, ensuring reliable test execution. The work demonstrated a methodical rollback strategy to mitigate risk in complex build systems. Lingqi’s contributions leveraged expertise in Python, Rust, and build system management to maintain the integrity of continuous integration workflows.
