Worked on the owncloud/android repository to enhance the user interface for file operations, focusing on improving the accuracy and immediacy of folder size updates after file replacements. Developed and implemented an automatic folder size refresh mechanism in the UI, ensuring that users receive real-time feedback aligned with backend data. This targeted feature reduced user confusion and improved the overall experience by keeping displayed metrics consistent with actual storage changes. The solution was delivered with a minimal code footprint, supporting maintainability and efficient code review.
