During March 2025, contributed to the osbuild/osbuild repository by enabling AlmaLinux support in the runner configuration. This work involved leveraging system administration and DevOps skills to create symbolic links from existing RHEL 8 and CentOS 9 runner configurations, allowing AlmaLinux to function as a host operating system for build tasks. The approach minimized changes to the existing CI pipeline while expanding cross-distribution build coverage. By using Shell scripting and cross-distro orchestration techniques, the integration reduced manual configuration and onboarding time for AlmaLinux environments, improving build reliability and streamlining the process for teams adopting AlmaLinux in their CI workflows.
