Worked on the elixir-lang/expert repository to deliver performance and compatibility enhancements by updating Burrito and Zig dependencies. Focused on improving runtime efficiency and ensuring cross-version compatibility, the work involved bumping Burrito to 1.5 and Zig to 0.15.2 across both build and CI pipelines. Adjustments to the CI/CD workflow were made to validate these new versions and reduce build-time failures, strengthening release reliability for downstream users. Documentation was refreshed to accurately reflect the updated dependencies, supporting maintainability. The engineering approach emphasized dependency management, CI/CD best practices, and clear documentation, utilizing Elixir and YAML throughout the development process.
