Worked on the cypht-org/cypht repository to deliver TLS 1.3 support in the core module, addressing compatibility issues with modern mail servers that enforce the latest security protocols. Focused on backend development and network security, the work involved updating the stream crypto path in PHP to enable TLS 1.3 when available, thereby strengthening the project’s security posture. This technical approach resolved user-reported handshake failures and improved mail delivery reliability for TLS 1.3-enabled environments. The update aligned the project with current security standards, reduced support friction, and ensured smoother onboarding for users requiring robust, up-to-date encryption in their mail workflows.
