Developed and delivered the Building Material Terms Localization feature for the CompassionCH/compassion-modules repository, enabling translation of building material terms to support the project’s localization strategy. Leveraged Django and Python to expand translation coverage, reducing manual translation effort and facilitating scalable multi-language deployments across modules. Enhanced repository hygiene by updating the .gitignore file to exclude macOS metadata and editor backup files, ensuring cleaner commits and improved code maintenance. Demonstrated a strong grasp of backend development, localization and internationalization practices, and Git-based workflows, contributing to faster internationalization readiness and supporting the maintainability of the codebase for future development.
