
Worked on expanding SpacetimeDB’s compatibility with Unity WebGL by delivering two features across the clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB and clockworklabs/com.clockworklabs.spacetimedbsdk repositories. Addressed the lack of multi-threading and native WebSocket support in WebGL by implementing a JavaScript-based WebSocket layer and integrating it with C# clients using JavaScript interop and conditional compilation. Developed a reusable pattern for cross-language communication between C# and JavaScript via jsLib, enabling reliable SpacetimeDB operation in Unity WebGL builds. This work broadened platform coverage and reduced integration complexity for Unity developers, leveraging skills in C#, JavaScript, plugin development, and WebGL deployment. No bugs were reported.
