Worked on the Flagsmith/flagsmith repository to deliver Dark Mode UI and UX enhancements, focusing on dynamic theming and navigation reliability. Used React, JavaScript, and SCSS to implement a theme toggle tooltip that accurately reflects the current mode, ensuring users receive clear feedback when switching themes. Standardized hover styles across tabs and refined the side menu experience in dark mode, addressing visual consistency and accessibility. Improved hover states for aside navigation backgrounds and SVG icons, resulting in a more cohesive interface. The work emphasized frontend development best practices, prioritizing accessibility and performance while introducing a single, well-scoped feature during the month.
