Worked on repository hygiene and environment management for the Global-rd/python_hu project, focusing on reducing risk and improving maintainability. Addressed a key bug by standardizing the handling of environment files, ensuring sensitive data would not be committed to version control. Used Git and Python to update .gitignore rules and remove obsolete homework scripts, streamlining the repository and reducing clutter. Consolidated environment management practices to support easier onboarding and future development. These efforts established a cleaner baseline for security and aligned the repository with best practices, laying the groundwork for future CI/CD improvements and enhancing overall maintainability through careful file management.
