During November 2025, Deli Zhang focused on stabilizing the upgrade process for the xenserver/host-installer repository by addressing a critical bug affecting monitoring continuity. Using Python scripting and system administration skills, Deli restored the linkage between NRPE and SNMP services during RPU upgrades, ensuring that monitoring configurations remained intact after system updates. This work involved verifying service configurations and operational status post-upgrade, directly reducing the risk of downtime and supporting reliable service management across environments. The targeted bug fix demonstrated a methodical approach to maintaining monitoring reliability, reflecting a depth of understanding in service management and upgrade resilience within complex systems.
