During the month, contributed to the cdk8s-team/cdk8s-plus repository by developing a targeted feature that enhances HTTP probe configurability within Kubernetes environments. The work focused on expanding the API surface by introducing support for custom HTTP headers, achieved through the implementation of a new HttpHeader interface and its integration into existing HttpGetProbeOptions and Action constructs. Comprehensive tests were added to ensure correct setting and inclusion of headers in probe configurations, maintaining a small and maintainable scope for quality and speed. The feature was delivered using TypeScript and leveraged skills in API development and Kubernetes resource modeling for robust integration.
