By explicitly recording contributor acknowledgements in NOTICES.md and aligning with CLA compliance, the update minimized risk and maintained clear project governance. The work involved targeted configuration management and documentation updates rather than feature development, demonstrating attention to collaborative processes and open-source best practices. No major defects were reported, reflecting a careful and well-scoped engineering approach.
