Worked on the phospho-app/phosphobot repository to enhance the installer’s reliability across multiple architectures. Focused on refactoring the installation script using Shell scripting and DevOps practices, the work introduced explicit architecture type handling and removed the dependency on distribution codenames. This approach ensured that the correct package repository is selected for both amd64 and arm64 systems, improving installation consistency in diverse environments. The changes addressed a key bug affecting cross-architecture deployments, resulting in a more robust and maintainable installer. The work demonstrated attention to cross-platform compatibility and careful scripting, contributing to the overall stability of the phosphobot installation process.
