
Over a three-month period, contributed to the uoftblueprint/brampton-tennis-queue repository by building features that enhanced both backend reliability and user experience. Developed queue metrics tracking and monitoring endpoints using Node.js, Express.js, and Firebase, enabling real-time observability and data-driven capacity planning. Expanded the backend’s communication capabilities by implementing a web notifications API and later delivered a full web push notification system with Firebase Cloud Messaging, supporting both foreground and background delivery. Improved the frontend with React and TypeScript, adding responsive UI/UX enhancements and Google Sign-In. Maintained code quality through documentation, dead code removal, and stabilization of the main branch.
