Worked on the GIScience/sketch-map-tool repository to enhance the Filebokz file upload interface, focusing on improving the visual consistency and usability of file previews. Applied CSS and front end development skills to implement a preview visual enhancement, ensuring that uploaded files display with a transparent background and inherit text color from their context. Addressed a targeted color override issue by overriding default Filebokz colors for uploaded files, resulting in more consistent preview rendering. Delivered concise, well-scoped changes with clear commit messages, emphasizing maintainability and traceability. The work demonstrated attention to UI detail and a methodical approach to interface refinement using CSS.
