Worked on the BerriAI/litellm repository to enhance CI/CD workflow efficiency and security by implementing fork-aware controls using GitHub Actions and YAML. Developed features that prevent scheduled CI/CD workflows from running on forked repositories, reducing unnecessary builds and resource consumption. Refined the CodeQL workflow to ensure scheduled scans are skipped on forks while maintaining comprehensive push and pull request-driven security scans across all repositories. This approach improved cost efficiency, clarified maintenance boundaries, and preserved security coverage. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of CI/CD best practices, workflow automation, and the effective use of YAML for configuration management in collaborative environments.
