Worked on the xm-online/xm-webapp repository to enhance deployment readiness across multiple CPU architectures, focusing on robust CI/CD processes and future-proofing for ARM and diverse hardware. Implemented multi-architecture Docker image builds using Docker Buildx, enabling support for ARM64 and ARMv8 platforms. Refined the deployment workflow by evolving the branch strategy, initially tagging releases on the ARM branch and later simplifying triggers to centralize versioning on main and master branches. Improved build reliability by addressing path issues in the build context and enhanced workflow hygiene with better tagging and commit practices. Utilized Shell scripting, YAML, Docker, and GitHub Actions throughout.
