Contributed to open-telemetry/opentelemetry-cpp by implementing OTLP gRPC client credentials support, enabling secure authentication with short-lived tokens through custom ChannelCredentials. This work involved updating CMake build configurations, enhancing CI/CD scripts, and extending the client options API to facilitate adoption by downstream consumers. Additionally, addressed a Cloud Run telemetry reporting issue in googleapis/google-cloud-cpp by aligning the C++ OpenTelemetry exporter’s MonitoredResource formatting with the Golang implementation, improving resource reporting accuracy for the Cloud Monitoring API. Leveraged expertise in C++, gRPC, and build systems to deliver targeted, maintainable solutions that improved both authentication workflows and telemetry reliability across cloud environments.
