During March 2025, Ellio developed and delivered a new Homebrew Cask for UA MIDI Control within the lizongying/homebrew-cask repository. The work focused on end-to-end cask management, including defining download URLs, verification steps, and comprehensive app metadata using Ruby. Ellio implemented livecheck configuration to automate future updates and specified dependencies and trashable data to ensure reliable installation and clean uninstallation. The project emphasized maintainability and future-proofing, addressing the needs of users seeking streamlined software packaging. While no bugs were recorded or fixed during this period, the contribution demonstrated depth in Homebrew Cask management and software packaging best practices.
