Over a two-month period, contributed to the csci-499-fa24/Team6 and Stray-Finder repositories by delivering 33 features and resolving 14 bugs, focusing on user account management, notification preferences, and major UI enhancements. Leveraged JavaScript, React, and Node.js to implement dynamic navigation, onboarding improvements, and robust backend integrations. Enhanced data integrity and user experience through conditional rendering, state management, and database interaction. In December, addressed user-facing clarity and maintainability in Stray-Finder by introducing an information modal for matching results and refining report type displays. The work emphasized maintainable code, streamlined user flows, and consistent UI/UX across both frontend and backend systems.
