Worked on the SkillsFundingAgency/das-playwright-automation-test-suite repository to enhance deployment efficiency within the CI/CD pipeline. Developed a feature that enables scheduled deployments to reuse the same build across lower environments, addressing previous restrictions that increased build churn and slowed multi-environment release cycles. The technical approach involved modifying deployment conditions in YAML configuration files to support cross-environment build reuse for scheduled runs. Leveraged DevOps practices and CI/CD automation to validate and update pipeline behavior, ensuring smoother and faster releases. The work focused on optimizing deployment workflows using YAML and CI/CD tools, resulting in more efficient and maintainable release processes.
