Worked on the civiform/civiform repository to enhance accessibility and internationalization by implementing translatable ARIA labels for primary navigation and the agency identifier. Leveraging HTML and Java, integrated new internationalization keys and updated HTML views so that screen readers announce navigation elements in the user’s preferred language. This approach addressed multilingual usability and ensured compliance with accessibility standards, directly supporting the product’s goal of reaching a broader audience. The work focused on front-end development and accessibility, with changes tracked to specific issues and commits, reflecting a targeted, standards-driven improvement to the user experience for diverse, multilingual audiences.
