During December 2024, Ally Power focused on improving data integrity within the matteocrippa/ProxmoxVE repository by addressing a critical typo in the Part-DB JSON reference. By correcting the filename from "Cerds-Filename" to "Cards-Filename" in part-db.json, Ally ensured that data references remained accurate, reducing the risk of downstream misreferences and potential data pipeline issues. This work involved careful JSON data management, precise validation of data references, and diligent use of version control to maintain backward compatibility. Although the change did not introduce new features, it demonstrated attention to detail and contributed to the reliability of ProxmoxVE’s data handling processes.
