Worked on the Multi-Energy-Systems-Optimization/mesido repository to enhance the reliability and efficiency of its CI/CD pipeline. Introduced timeouts for all CI jobs, capping main jobs at ten minutes and others at five, which prevented indefinite runs and accelerated feedback for developers. Documented these changes thoroughly using Markdown and updated the changelog to ensure clear communication of the new testing pipeline limits. Leveraged GitHub Actions and YAML to implement and configure the improvements, focusing on maintainability and traceability. The work emphasized robust documentation and explicit commit messages, resulting in a more predictable and transparent CI process for the project.
