Worked on reliability and maintainability improvements for the apache/dubbo-go project, focusing on refining timeout handling across protocols. Addressed a critical bug by ensuring consumer request timeouts were correctly passed as parameters in the refer function, which reduced mis-timed requests and simplified debugging. The work included cleaning up the dubbo_invoker.go file by removing redundant constants and refactoring comments and function names for greater cross-protocol consistency. Leveraged Go for protocol implementation and error handling, with an emphasis on configuration management. These changes enhanced the reliability of consumer requests and contributed to a more maintainable codebase without introducing new features.
