Developed a pseudolocalization feature for the matomo-org/matomo repository, enabling developers to preview translations with accented characters and placeholders during development. The implementation focused on robust handling of PHP-based translation logic, ensuring that placeholders and HTML content were processed correctly and that the Intl plugin was excluded from pseudolocalization. Delivered as a single, well-documented commit, the feature was designed to enhance the localization quality assurance workflow by reducing the risk of translation regressions and streamlining development and testing cycles. The work demonstrated careful attention to back end development, unit testing, and the nuances of internationalization within a PHP codebase.
