Worked on the openjdk/jfx repository to address a UI reliability issue by fixing a bug related to text truncation in MenuButton and SplitMenuButton components. Focused on improving the handling of the textTruncated property to ensure accurate display of truncated text, which enhanced UI consistency and reduced visual glitches across platforms. Collaborated closely with project maintainers through code review to validate the solution and maintain code quality. The targeted fix was implemented in Java using JavaFX, with unit testing to ensure stability. This work contributed to a more reliable user interface without introducing risk or affecting unrelated areas of the codebase.
