Worked on the plone/cookieplone-templates repository to deliver an automated solution for generating the frontend_addon_name based on the project title within cookiecutter templates. This feature, implemented using Python and Jinja2 templating, aimed to standardize frontend add-on naming conventions and reduce manual errors during template provisioning. By automating the derivation process, the work improved consistency across projects and lowered ongoing maintenance costs. The contribution consisted of a single, focused feature with no reported regressions or bug fixes during the period. The approach demonstrated attention to automation and template reliability, addressing a specific workflow pain point for frontend development teams.
