Worked on enhancing the tphakala/birdnet-go repository by implementing full localization support for Brazilian Portuguese users. Focused on data management and localization, the contribution involved creating a comprehensive PT-BR labels resource to improve usability and accessibility for Portuguese-speaking audiences. The technical approach centered on adding a dedicated labels_pt-br.txt file, ensuring that the application’s interface could be easily understood by users in Brazil. No major bugs were reported during this period, allowing concentrated effort on internationalization and the quality of localization assets. This work strengthened the repository’s readiness for broader adoption and improved accessibility for international users.
