During February 2025, Fournux contributed to the Saghen/nixpkgs repository by updating the Amarok and Ankama Launcher packages to their latest versions, focusing on delivering timely feature upgrades and improved package quality. Working primarily with Nix and leveraging expertise in package management and software updates, Fournux ensured that users could access up-to-date software releases through the package manager. The updates enhanced security, stability, and compatibility across environments, while reducing maintenance overhead for the repository. Although the work was feature-oriented and did not involve bug fixes, it demonstrated a solid understanding of version management and dependency handling within the Nix ecosystem.
