Worked on the VirtualPinballSpreadsheet/vps-db repository to enhance database reliability by delivering a schema update and data maintenance focused on queue integrity. Addressed a critical issue where queue processing could fail if tableFiles were missing, implementing targeted database logic and validation to prevent such failures. Corrected inconsistencies in puplookup.csv across multiple pinball tables, improving data quality and enabling smoother queue operations. Demonstrated skills in data cleaning, database management, and version-controlled updates using CSV as the primary data format. The work reduced downtime, supported accurate analytics, and ensured that database migrations and updates were robust and maintainable for future development.
