Worked on stabilizing the BootstrapFilter component within the TuringLang/SSMProblems.jl repository, focusing on addressing a regression that affected type instantiation and initialization during resampler construction. Applied code refactoring and software engineering skills in Julia to revert a previous change, restoring correct import handling and ensuring consistent behavior across different environments. The effort improved the reliability and maintainability of the bootstrap workflow by reducing the risk of future regressions and enhancing reproducibility. This work involved careful analysis of constructor logic and import dependencies, resulting in a more robust foundation for the SSMProblems.jl package’s filtering and resampling functionality.
