Frode Vandermeeren developed Public Broadcast Announcement (PBP) feature support for the Bluetooth tester framework in the telink-semi/zephyr repository. He implemented automated testing of PBP commands using C within an embedded systems context, integrating new configurations, source files, and handlers to exercise the PBP flow. This work expanded the Bluetooth stack’s test coverage and enabled validation through the AutoPTS framework, reducing reliance on manual testing. By focusing on Bluetooth protocol testing and leveraging his expertise in C programming and embedded systems, Frode delivered a targeted feature that improved testing readiness and accelerated the validation process for new Bluetooth PBP features.
