During December 2024, Abomb developed Hanseatic Bank support within the GoCardless integration for the actualbudget/actual repository. Leveraging JavaScript and full stack development skills, Abomb introduced a dedicated configuration file for Hanseatic Bank and integrated it through the bank factory, enhancing maintainability and scalability for future bank onboarding. The implementation enforced an 89-day access window to comply with GoCardless constraints, directly addressing requirements outlined in PR #514. This work expanded payment-method coverage and improved the reliability of the integration, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to API integration and backend development while laying groundwork for smoother addition of new banking partners.
