Contributed to the esphome/esphome repository by implementing full support for the HDC2080 temperature and humidity sensor, handling configuration, setup, and I2C-based data acquisition in Python to expand ESPHome’s hardware compatibility. Collaborated with multiple contributors through code reviews to ensure robust sensor integration and seamless user experience. Additionally, improved the nextcloud/all-in-one repository’s backup migration documentation by correcting command usage, replacing ‘cp’ with ‘scp’ to accurately guide users in transferring backup archives between hosts. Work demonstrated attention to detail in both embedded systems development and technical documentation, utilizing Python, C++, and Markdown to address practical user and developer needs.
