Worked on enhancing model configuration flexibility and correctness in the krai/axs2mlperf repository, focusing on enabling safer experimentation with multiple model families. Introduced parameterization of the model_family variable, allowing users to select different model families without modifying core Python code, which streamlines configuration management and supports extensibility. Additionally, reverted an incorrect change to the llama2-70b model name to ensure accurate model identification and maintain configuration integrity. The work emphasized skills in configuration management, model management, and refactoring, with careful attention to preserving system reliability and supporting dynamic experimentation workflows within the existing Python-based codebase. No bugs were reported.
