Worked on enhancing localization quality in the sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie repository over a two-month period, focusing on refining Chinese language support for sandboxed environments. Addressed translation inconsistencies by standardizing terminology in both UI messages and language resources, using TypeScript and JSON to update assets and ensure clarity for Chinese-speaking users. Delivered targeted fixes such as replacing inconsistent sandbox terms and correcting the translation of 'Home' in Sandboxie Settings, with all changes validated through QA. This work reduced user confusion and support inquiries, demonstrating a methodical approach to internationalization, localization, and text editing within a collaborative, version-controlled development environment.
