During August 2025, Mitropoui contributed to the Tietew/aws-cdk repository by addressing a reliability issue in the Lambda autoscaling documentation. Focusing on deployment stability, Mitropoui identified and fixed an incorrect import in the TypeScript example for scheduled scaling, ensuring that the cron expression used was valid for AWS Application Auto Scaling. This targeted bug fix improved the accuracy of the documentation and reduced the risk of CloudFormation deployment failures caused by misconfiguration. Leveraging expertise in AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and technical documentation, Mitropoui’s work demonstrated careful attention to detail and a practical approach to maintaining robust infrastructure-as-code resources.
