
Contributed to the sofia-ys/Aircraft-Design repository by building a scalable foundation for aircraft structural analysis and design workflows. Over three months, delivered core project scaffolding, backend API stubs, and frontend UI components, then implemented automated wing safety-margin calculations, parameterized multi-design exploration, and visualization tools. Addressed critical bugs in stress-bending logic and refined weight and area estimation using numerical integration. The work emphasized maintainability through code cleanup, refactoring, and documentation, leveraging Python, XML, and CSV for data processing and configuration. These efforts accelerated feature delivery, improved risk assessment, and enhanced the alignment between engineering analysis and iterative design processes.
