Developed model-parameterization capabilities for Claude code-action workflows, focusing on configurability and reproducibility across the anthropics/claude-code-action and cockroachdb/claude-code-action repositories. Leveraged Node.js and TypeScript to implement parameter propagation, enabling per-run model selection and streamlined parameter passing within production pipelines. The approach harmonized model selection logic between base-action and CLI integration, reducing manual configuration and supporting faster experimentation cycles. By introducing a model field and handling the --model parameter in CLI commands, the work improved consistency and reduced errors in deployment. This full stack development effort enhanced automation and facilitated broader adoption of Claude-based workflows in both repositories.
