Worked on enhancing hardware support in the Zephyr4Microchip/zephyr repository by implementing 9-output channel support for the SCTimer IOMUX. Updated the output channel mask and corrected the IOMUX_GET_SCTIMER_OUT_CLR_OFFSET mask to align software configuration with the actual hardware capabilities of NXP SCTimer devices. This C programming effort focused on embedded systems and hardware interfacing, ensuring accurate routing to all SCTimer outputs and reducing the risk of misconfiguration. The changes enabled broader hardware compatibility within Zephyr, supporting more complex pin control definitions and improving the reliability of hardware-software integration for microcontroller-based projects in embedded environments.
