Haiwen Summer developed a feature for the ansys/pyaedt repository that automates port creation in Hfss3dLayout by generating ports from a provided list of net names. Using Python and leveraging expertise in API development and EDA tools, Haiwen designed the create_ports_by_nets function to update the internal port list and return the created port objects, streamlining downstream workflows. This approach reduced manual steps in port setup, enabling faster prototyping and improved reproducibility for users.
