During January 2025, Hkhel focused on improving test stability for the adoptium/aqa-tests repository, specifically targeting OpenJDK11 runs on linux-arm. By leveraging configuration management and test exclusion skills, Hkhel updated the ProblemList to exclude a problematic runtime test, addressing recurring instability in continuous integration. The work also involved reorganizing ProblemList_openjdk11.txt to maintain alphabetical order, which enhanced maintainability and reduced the likelihood of flaky test runs. Working primarily with text-based configuration files, Hkhel’s targeted bug fix improved data consistency and enabled more predictable test outcomes, providing faster feedback for developers and supporting cleaner, more reliable test management processes.
