Worked on improving packaging stability and build reliability for the QFit recipe in the conda-forge/staged-recipes repository. Addressed a critical bug by tightening dependency constraints and correcting syntax errors in the meta.yaml file, ensuring builds interpret requirements correctly across environments. Applied explicit version bounds for cython and scipy to prevent incompatibility issues and fixed Python version specification to support consistent builds. Utilized skills in build systems, dependency management, and package management, with a focus on YAML for metadata configuration. These changes enhanced CI stability and reduced packaging failures, supporting smoother downstream usage of QFit through the conda-forge ecosystem.
