Developed and delivered the KHealth server plugin for Ktor within the ktorio/ktor-plugin-registry repository, focusing on enhancing service monitoring and reliability. The work centered on implementing configurable health and readiness endpoints, allowing teams to define custom checks, override status codes, and adjust endpoint paths as needed. Leveraging Kotlin and YAML, the developer established a minimal plugin architecture that supports consistent health monitoring across Ktor-based services. This approach laid the foundation for improved observability and faster issue detection, contributing to reduced mean time to recovery in production environments.
