During this period, work focused on stabilizing and modernizing build systems for the ROCm/TheRock and ROCm/rccl repositories. The developer enabled CMake 4 compatibility on Linux, updated policy settings, and raised minimum CMake versions for key dependencies in ROCm/TheRock, streamlining cross-platform development. In ROCm/rccl, they aligned test and main build configurations by increasing the minimum CMake version and improved test reliability through refined dependency management. These changes, implemented using CMake and build system configuration skills, reduced CI and build friction across repositories. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to cross-repo alignment and build system modernization within a short timeframe.
