During September 2025, Kar Karkar contributed to the Anorak2024/Paradise repository by delivering two features focused on gameplay balance and combat mechanics. Kar implemented an in-game salary rebalance across roles, adjusting starting money and salaries to refine the game’s economic progression. Additionally, Kar enabled one-handed firing for the SP-91 by removing the weapon_weight constraint, simplifying weapon handling and expanding combat flexibility. These changes were developed using DM and required backend development, configuration, and game development skills. The work demonstrated thoughtful systems design and careful version control, resulting in deeper player progression and supporting the project’s retention and monetization objectives.
