Developed and delivered JAX Named Scopes Support in the Keras backend, focusing on integrating JAX’s named_scope with Keras’ name_scope to enhance scope management and debugging capabilities. This work, contributed to the keras-team/keras repository, improved traceability for JAX-based computations by aligning scope semantics between the two frameworks. The implementation, using Python and leveraging backend development skills, established a maintainable foundation for future JAX integration within Keras. By enabling better organization and debugging of JAX operations, the contribution addressed maintainability and future-proofing needs for JAX-enabled workflows, supporting smoother onboarding and potential performance optimizations in the Keras backend ecosystem.
